Make the most of your day and discover both the ancient and modern side of Dubai.

Start with a complete dive into the culture and traditions of this cosmopolitan city by visiting the Dubai Museum. Housed in the eighteenth-century Al Fahidi Fort, the museum was opened by the ruler of Dubai in 1971, with the aim of presenting the traditional way of life in the Emirate of Dubai, before the discovery of the oil in the late 60s.

Drive to the nearby Bastakiya, the old residential area of Dubai. Here you will walk through narrow lanes and the typical wind towers, which ones were used as a natural air-conditioning system.

Precede the walk to the Abra pier. From here you will embark on an Abra, a traditional boat made of wood, used to transport people from one side of the Dubai Creek to the other. At the end of the approximately 10 minute drive you will reach the Gold and Spice Souks.

Located in the heart of Dubai's commercial business district in Deira, the souks offer hundreds of shops aligned in narrow laneways, trading almost exclusively jewelry, spices and fragrances. Walk around dazzling gold and fresh aroma of traditional Arabic spices, and challenge yourself in bargaining and getting your wished item at the cheapest possible price! Following this unusual experience,

Drive to Burj Al Arab, with a short stop en route to take a memorable picture of the probably most famous landmark of Dubai. Indeed Burj Al Arab is the most luxurious hotel in the world. Enjoy a lunch in this opulent and unique venue.

Then, drive to Souk Madinat Jumeirah, a colorful and vibrant market designed to resemble a traditional Arabian town. Here you will have the chance to shop, wandering through the traditional Arabian souk, past wind towers, lantern lit hallways and narrow waterways. Enjoy some free time surrounded by this picturesque landscape and then drive back to hotel.
